Study Notes for 1 John Chapter 1

Some Questions to think about:
1. Who is the “We” of verse one.
2. Why is Jesus called “Word of Life” and “eternal life”?
3. What is the “Fellowship” John is talking about?
4. Who is the “You” he is talking to?
5. How is the message, “God is light: in Him there is no darkness at all” key to fellowship?
6. The last five verses of chapter 1 all begin with “If.” Who is John talking to in each one?
